The appts. has a horizontal plate (1) with a spirit level with a verifying shaft (2) set accurately at right angles attached to it. USE/ADVANTAGE - The correct vertical position of the spindle bearing is accomplished without reference to the ring rail. The appts. is simple to use and economic to produce. The spindle is set true for correct spinning.
