<p>PURPOSE:To measure temperature distribution at high accuracy through an optical fiber type temperature distribution measurement device by extracting induced Raman light effectively. CONSTITUTION:Induced Raman scattering is generated by injecting an optical pulse generated by a LD excitation solid state laser 11 into an optical fiber 13, in an optical fiber type temperature distribution measurement device. A component of desired wavelength of the induced Raman light thus generated is extracted from a light filter 4, and is injected into an optical fiber 9 to be measured, and the Raman scattering light ejected from the other end is detected, signal-processed, so as to measure the temperature distribution in the optical fiber to be measured. As the optical fiber 13, distributed shift single mode fiber is used.</p> |
