PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency of packaging while corresponding with objects-to-be- packaged with various dimensions easily, and provide an inexpensive packaging device by a method wherein a cushioning body is made of a paper cylindrical body, and the cushioning body is arranged in a space in such a manner that the axial direction of the cylindrical body becomes approximately perpendicular to the inner surface of a packaging box and the outer surface of an object-to-be-packaged. CONSTITUTION:This packaging device is equipped with a rectangular parallelopiped shaped packaging box 11 in which an object-to-be-packaged 21 is contained, and a cushioning body 25 made of a paper cylindrical body, and the cushioning body 25 is arranged in a space 23 between the packaging box 11 and the object-to-be-packaged 21, in such a manner that the axial direction of the cylindrical body becomes approximately rectangular to the inner surface of the packaging box 11 and the outer surface of the object-to-be-packaged 21. By doing this, since the cushioning body 25 made of a paper cylindrical body has strength to a force which is added in the axial direction of the cylindrical body, movement of the object- to-be-packaged 21 in the packaging box 11 is assuredly prevented, and the object-to-be- packaged 21 is fixed and held. Also, since the cushioning body 25 made of a paper cylindrical body can be freely deformed in the direction which is vertical to the axial direction of the cylindrical body, the cushioning body 25 can be easily fitted in the space 23 with various dimensions. |
