PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of a rearward checking device for a vehicle by providing a display for inverting the polarity of a sawtooth wave signal for vertical deflection in a contactless manner when input of a reverse image camera is displayed. CONSTITUTION:A reverse image camera 1 inverted 10 degrees and mounted on a car body, and a non-reverse image camera 2 mounted on the car body normally in the vertical direction, are provided. Further, a display 3 having a reverse circuit for reversing the polarity of a sawtooth wave signal for vertical deflection in a contactless manner when input of the reverse image camera is displayed, and selectively image-indicating the inputs of the two cameras 1, 2 is provided.
