PURPOSE:To obtain a gel column which is easy to fabricate and can serve long-term use, a method for fabricating the column and an electrophoretic apparatus employing the column. CONSTITUTION:Gel 3 without bridging is filled in a capillary consisting of a resin coat layer 1 and a silica base 2, and gel 4 with high bridging is overlaid only on both ends. By putting the gel without bridging into the capillary, a problem of bubble occurrence is eliminated and fabrication is easy, as well as gel stability is improved since both ends contain bridged gel, whereby long- term use is possible. |
