<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of voltage drop due to the use of a printer and to extend the operation time of a portable terminal equipment by connecting a slow control circuit to the printer when power supply voltage reaches a prescribed detection voltage. CONSTITUTION:A detection voltage is set up to a value slightly higher than a critical voltage, and when the operation voltage of the portable terminal equipment reaches the detection voltage within a prescribed time at the time of supplying a specified voltage in a dropped state to the terminal set up to a rapid mode, a voltage detection circuit 2 outputs a command for switching the rapid mode to a slow mode to a switch control circuit 7 and a rapid control circuit 4 is switched to a slow control circuit 5 by a change-over switch 8 connected to a thermal printer 3. Thereby a state for extending a feed time at a low current and executing slow printing is held. Although energy amount to be supplied to a thermal head of the printer 3 is a low current, the printing speed can be reduced without changing it because the feeding time is extended. Thereby time to be consumed for voltage drop up to the critical voltage on which the portable terminal equipment is stopped can be extended.</p> |
