摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To analyze the behavior of snaking in consideration of the camber shape variation such as wave and center elongation of a steel plate, and a deforming component and the influence of a crown roll. CONSTITUTION:In each time step, the effective winding angle of each roll is found in consideration of the position relation of the steel plate between a front and a rear roll, the shape variation of the steel plate, the width-directional tension distribution of the steel plate, the taper angle of the crown roll, etc., and this effective winding angle is used to find the snaking speed of each roll; and the snaking quantity of each roll in a next time step is found from the snaking speed and this procedure is repeated while the time steps are updated to update the snaking quantity of each roll with time. Thus, a total analysis can be taken with high accuracy by using the effective winding angle calculated in consideration of the relative position relation of the steel plate between the front and rear rolls, the shape variation of the steel plate, the width- directional tension distribution of the steel plate, the taper angle of the crown roll, etc.</p>
