<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the heat yield of a magnetic tape at a high temp. and to improve heat resistance by internally loading the magnetic tape which is wound to >=300 layers on a hub and is lowered in the heat yield in its longitudinal direction to a prescribed value or below into the body case of the cartridge. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic tape to be internally loaded into the body case of the magnetic tape cartridge is wound in >=300 layers on the hub and the heat yield in its longitudinal direction after resting for 30 minutes at 105 deg.C is confined to <=0.6%. Plastic base films consisting of polyethylene terephthalate, polyaramid, etc., are used for this film.</p> |
