PURPOSE:To extend the fluctuation time of a corresponding power source without increasing the capacity of a backup power source in a system in which the backup power source is provided so as to reply to the voltage fluctuation of the power source in a short time. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a microcomputer 1, a peripheral circuit 2 controlled by the microcomputer 1, the power source 3 which supplies electricity to the microcomputer 1 and the peripheral circuit 2, the backup power source 4 which maintains the supply of electricity to the microcomputer 1 and the peripheral circuit 2 only in a short time, and a backup power source detecting means 5 which detects the state of the backup power source 4, and when the backup power source detecting means 5 detects the fact that the voltage of the backup power source 4 goes down under a prescribed value, the microcomputer 1 stops the peripheral circuit 2 after storing the state of it, and restarts the operation of the peripheral circuit 2 based on a stored state after the power source is restored to normal. |
