Steering lock for motor vehicle, comprising an elongate tubular body member (7), an elongate rod member (8) to be moved telescopically in the body member (7), a housing (2) formed around the first end part of the body member (7) for accommodating a locking mechanism and two springs (3, 3') for movement and two rod-shaped supports (4, 4'), a plurality of first annular grooves (80), situated in the middle part of the rod member (8), and two second annular grooves (81, 82), situated close to the first end of the rod member (8), the second annular grooves (81, 82) being intended to be inserted by the tenons (4, 4') of the said rod-shaped supports, moved by the strings (3, 3') in order to prevent the rod member (8) from sliding entirely out of the body member (7), when the rod member (8) is pulled out of the body member (7), while adjusting the length of the lock for fixing it onto a steering wheel of a car. <IMAGE>
