<p>A paper cutter for cutting a pile of paper on a bed with a cutting blade carried on a slider while holding the paper pile with a paper holding plate and moving the slider along a rail supported in parallel with the bed. The paper holding plate is made to move separately from the rail and is moved vertically with respect to the bed. Thus, the paper pile placed on the bed is held vertically in relation to the bed by the paper holding plate so that it is cut without any slippage. This slippage is also prevented even after the cutting operation.</p> |
