PURPOSE:To produce firm reinforcing layer by surely winding a linear body around a core in continuous form without floating and, at the same time, efficiently manufacture a composite body in continuous form. CONSTITUTION:Linear body 10, which consists of resin-impregnated reinforcing fiber bundle 18a having rectangular crosssection, is twistingly formed in advance by turning about its center axis to the winding direction and at the pitch the same as and nearly the same as those consisting of some part of the composite body in continuous form such as submarine cable or fluid shipping flexible composite tube. After that, the linear body is wound round the core in continuous form in order to produce reinforcing layer. |
