PURPOSE:To obtain high fiber volume ratio and to enhance mechanical characteristics by entangling both continuous fibers of at least one kind selected from among carbon fiber, glass fiber and aramid fiber and discontinuous short fibers and integrating them and setting the tensile strength and bulk hardness of the integrated sheet at a specified value. CONSTITUTION:In the subject fiber sheet excellent in conformability and impregnating ability into a reactive liquid raw material, fiber of at least one kind is used which is selected from among carbon fiber, glass fiber and aramid fiber. A required sheet is obtained by aligning and arranging these fibers in the lengthwise direction of fiber and entangling fibers with each other in a setting region of the sheetlike material. Further both continuous fibers of at least one kind selected from the above fibers and discontinuous short fiber are used. The required sheet is obtained by entangling these continuous fibers and discontinuous fibers and integrating them. The ratio of tensile strength To in the fiber orientation direction of this sheet to tensile strength T90 in the direction orthogonal thereto is shown below. 50<=5To/T90<=10<3>. Bulk hardness obtained by dividing the bulk density of the sheet by the density of fiber is regulated to 0.2-0.7. |
