PURPOSE:To provide the test piece convenient for simply and quantitatively examining to what extent the growth of a fungus is accelerated in the environment by dispersing the spores of the indicative fungus in a nutritive medium containing gelatin and sticking the dispersion to a support in a dry state. CONSTITUTION:The spores of an indicative fungus is suspended in a nutritive medium containing gelatin for the indicative fungus, and the suspension is stuck to a support 2 generally in the form of a small drop 3. The suspension stuck to the support 2 is dried to form the objective test piece 1 in which the spores of the indicative fungus are stuck to the support 2 in a dried dispersion state containing the spores. A xerophilous fungus, Aspergillus.penicilloides IFO 8155, is preferably employed as the indicative fungus for the examination of room environments. |
