PURPOSE:To realize the stable control of film biasing movement which prevents the erroneous detection of the film without causing the damage or the wrinkle or the like of the film even when the biasing speed of the film is changed caused by the unbalance of the temperature distribution of a heating part or the excessive rise of the temperature of a paper non-passing part or the like and to improve the reliability of a device as for the film heating type heating device which uses the endless film and which is provided with a film biasing movement control mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The film biasing movement control means 3, 16 and 20-23 which infinitely reciprocatingly execute the biasing movement of the film in the width direction thereof in the turning driving process of the film within fixed range when a direction which is perpendicular to the turning direction of the endless film 11 is regarded as the width direction of the film and a means which detects the width size of a material to be heated P, which is introduced in the device, in a direction which is perpedicular to the moving direction of the material P are provided. Besides, a control means which changes the infinite reciprocating movement range of the film of the film biasing movement control means according to the output of the detection means is provided. |
