POLYIMIDE RESIN MOLDING AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a polyimide resin molding excellent in heat resistance and moldability by melt molding a specific polyimide resin powder obtd. by the polycondensation of a diamine component consisting of an arom. diamine and an aliph. diamine with a tetracarboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:A diamine component consisting of 100-10mol% arom. diamine of formula I (wherein R is H, methyl, or ethyl) and 0-90mol% aliph. diamine of formula II (wherein (n) is 2; and (m) is 2-40) and a tetracarboxylic acid are polycondensed to give a polyimide resin powder having an inherent viscosity of 0.40-3.00, which is melt molded under a pressure of 500kgf/cm<2> or lower and cooled to give the objective molding having a coefficient of linear thermal expansion of 700X10<-5>K<-1> or lower. The resin is moldable at a lower temp. and a lower pressure than a conventional polyimide resin, hardly degrades during molding and gives a molding excellent in mechanical characteristics such as coefficient of thermal expansion.
