<p>The present invention is directed to an antisense oligonucleotide comprising a nucleotide sequence which is characterized by its ability to hybridize under stringent hybridization conditions to a part of the mRNA sequence of the human progesterone receptor and further characterized by its ability to block the synthesis of the human progesterone receptor, and modifications thereof, to a process for the preparation of such antisense oligonucleotides and modifications, pharmaceutical compositions containing such antisense oligonucleotides and modifications and the use of these antisense oligonucleotides and modifications as a therapeutic agent.</p> |
