A damping device for a piano comprises a damper (1) connected to a damper lever (4) to which is hingedly connected by its first protrusion a profiled cam (11) whose elongated part forms, together with an elongated part of the damper lever (4), a fork between the legs (13, 14) of which is located a spoon (6) rigidly connected to a wippen (7). The second protrusion of the profiled cam (11) is connected, through a spring (12), to the damper lever (4), and near the third protrusion is located a rod (10) hingedly connected to the hammer rail beam (9). |
