The waveguide has an outer conductor for stray emission measurement coated on the entire inner surfaces of the rear wall, floor and side walls with a microwave absorber. The microwave absorber acts as a combined induction loop/resistance film absorber and consists of a resistance film (9) with an induction and loop grid (10) facing directly towards the incident waves.The characteristic impedance of the resistance film and inductive grid is 388 Ohms per unit area. The loops of the grid stand vertically on the metal wall (7). USE/ADVANTAGE - Waveguide allows emission measurement as well as noise resistance measurement with only slight inhomogenous field strength distribution loading.
