The selector is intended for transformer voltage regulation. It has a simple design, reliable regulation and easy maintenance. The step selector includes static contacts (2), located in at least one plane of the insulation material cylinder wall (1). Each plane has a contact bridge (6), whose internal edge slides along the contact ring positioned in the plane(4). The latter is freely moving around the contact bridge (6), which is supported by a support arm (7), connected with the selector's tubular shaft (3). The bearing arm (7), made of insulation material, holds a flange (8), replicating the pipe shaft (3) shape. The flange (8) has at least one projection (9), fitting in the corresponding shaft socket (3), which covers 120 degrees of its periphery and is connected with it through an insulation material band (10) that encompasses them.
