A hole indexing device is intended for drilling a line of holes (2) in a lithoidal wall (1), such as concrete, rock, stone or the like, by drilling a plurality of successive holes therein. A hole indexing device (9) is fitted in a drilling apparatus, comprising a frame supporting a drilling rig (5). The drilling rig (5) is movable by means of transfer elements (7) on a guide system (6) mounted on the frame in a direction (S1), whereby said drilling rig (5) at certain intervals in direction (S1) is locked in drilling positions by means of locking elements (8). The drilling is effected by operating said drilling rig (5) periodically in successive drilling positions by means of a hydraulically operated, electrical or a like power unit. The hole indexing device (9) operates by means of transfer elements (7), said locking elements (8) locking said drilling rig (5) in drilling positions relative to transfer elements (7). |
