<p>PURPOSE:To improve permeability of electrolyte without lowering in performance of battery. CONSTITUTION:In a method of improving manufacture of sealed battery where a power generating element formed of positive and negative electrodes laminated through a separator is stored in a metal vessel and the opening end of the vessel is sealed with a sealing cover, and the sealing cover side end of the separator is coated with surface active agent and electrolyte is filled. With the surface active agent on the separator, the permeability of electrolyte is improved. Furthermore, since there is no need for coating the whole surface of the separator with the surface-active agent, the supply of electrolyte can be made easily without decrease in the performance of battery.</p> |
