The plug for the container (12) makes it possible, at the same time, to provide sealing of the closure of the container and to maintain very high pressures at very high temperatures inside the latter. It is mainly composed of a fixed part (14) which closes the container and in which a movable part (15) can slide slightly. At their joining plane and outside these parts there is a seal (13) which is moved away against the internal surface (20) of the container when the movable part (15) is brought closer to the fixed part (14). Tightening of the plug takes place via a nut (16). The installations of the seal (13) is independent of the clamping. Application to the closure of extractors for installations for extraction using supercritical fluids and to the closure of high-pressure and high-temperature containers in general. <IMAGE>
