<p>PURPOSE:To simply obtain a homogeneous carrier having excellent electrostatic charging property, blocking and wear resistances and long service life by using resin contg. a specified high molecular compd. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic powder is dispersed in resin particles contg. a high molecular compd. obtd. by allowing a polymerizable monomer to react with a silicon compd. having a group reactive with the monomer to obtain a carrier having improved flowability due to reduced surface energy. Since the surface characteristics of the carrier depend on the characteristics of the resin covering the magnetic powder, the characteristics of the carrier do not considerably deteriorate with the lapse of time. The polymerizable monomer is selected among styrenes, monoolefin, vinyl ester, etc.</p> |
