PURPOSE:To make it easy to keep a transfer surface in a good condition and to easily exchange the transfer surface inexpensively when it must be exchanged. CONSTITUTION:This is an image forming device provided with an intermediate transfer drum 2 driven to rotate so that a toner image transferred from the surface of a photosensitive body 1 may be further transferred on a recording medium 100, and it is constituted by providing a conductive elastic body 4 which forms the outer periphery part of the drum 2; a transfer film 5 which is attachably/detachably provided to cover the outer peripheral surface of the elastic body 4, whose surface is smooth and to which the toner image is transferred; and film fixing means 30 and 31 which fix the film 5 on the drum 2 so that it may cover the outer peripheral surface of the elastic body 4 and also release the fixing. |
