<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently produce the electrophotographic toner of regenerated fine particles excellent in transfer efficiency, resolution and gradation by adding a specified fine powder to a dispersed mixture. CONSTITUTION:A fixing resin, a colorant, a change control agent, a mold release agent, etc., are mixed in a specified ratio and dispersed (stage 1). A fine powder generated in the succeeding crushing and classifying stages is added to the mixture, and the mixture is melted and kneaded (stage 2). At this time, the fixing resin and the component compatible with the fixing resin are melted, and the component of the charge control agent incompatible with the fixing resin is uniformly dispersed in the molten resin. The molten kneaded material is then cooled and solidified, the solidified material is coarsely crushed (stage 3), finely crushed (stage 4) and classified (stage 5) to obtain an electrophotographic toner having a specified grain size.</p> |
