PURPOSE:To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a low self-discharge rate and a low internal short occurrence rate, and being excellent in energy density, cycle characteristic and practicality. CONSTITUTION:In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using carbonaceous material as negative electrode active material, having such a particle size distribution as 6-20mum of 10% cumulative diameter, 20-55mum of 50% cumulative diameter, and 55-90mum of 90% cumulative diameter as the carbonaceus material, is used as the negative electrode active material. |
