<p>PURPOSE:To provide a speed change control device for an automatic transmission such that a speed change shock is eliminated at quick braking time, generation of engine stop can be prevented, engine brake action can be ensured at braking time after quick braking, and a speed change shock at normal braking time can be relaxed. CONSTITUTION:A speed change map, in which a speed change line of shifting down to 1-speed from 3-speed in an idle switch on-region is moved to a car speed V2 higher than a car speed V1, is used as a specific speed change map M2 used for shift down speed changing at braking time. At quick braking time, coast cut 3-speed unable to apply an engine brake is held till a vehicle is stopped, and at braking time after releasing quick braking, coast-provided 3-speed possible to apply the engine brake and coast-provided 2-speed of applying the engine brake are held respectively in a region of V1 <= car speed V<V2 and in a region of car speed < V1, to perform speed change control based on the speed change map M2 at normal braking time.</p> |
