PURPOSE:To facilitate automation of a grinding work without complicating a processing program and limiting a processing order. CONSTITUTION:A dog 14 for driving a work is mounted on a part of a work W. A memory medium 17, such as an ID card, is attached to the dog 14, tooling information corresponding to the size shape of the work W is stored. A reading device 18 to read tooling information of the memory medium 17 is installed to a headstock 2, and read information is transferred to an NC device 13. The NC device 13 controls work engaging elements, such as a grinding wheel 1, a main spindle center 3, a tailstock center 6, work rests 7, 8, and 9, measuring parts 11 and 12 of a direct sizing device 10. |
