PURPOSE:To improve the yield of polyether polyol for the production of polymer polyol and shorten the production step by omitting the process for the purification of crude polyether polyol. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer polyol (A) is produced by carrying out the addition polymerization of (a) a compound having >=2 active hydrogen atoms and selected from polyhydric alcohols, polyhydric phenols, amines, polycarboxanes and phosphoric acids and (b) an alkylene oxide in the presence of (c) an alkaline catalyst to obtain a crude polyether polyol (B), neutralizing the component (c) in the polyether polyol (B) with (d1) a vinylcarboxylic acid and/or (d2) a vinylsulfonic acid, adding (d3) one or more kinds of other vinyl monomers to the reaction mixture and carrying out the vinyl polymerization of the monomers. |
