PURPOSE:To prevent the change in electrostatic latent image potential, eliminate the image unevenness in continuous copying and make maintenance and inspection easy with simple constitution by moving a photoreceptor and performing light irradiation while the copier is ready for copying. CONSTITUTION:While the coppier is ready for copying after turning of a main switch ON, an entire surface exposure fluorescent lamp 4 and a front exposure fluorescent lamp 9 are lighted while a drum 1 is being rotated at 100mm./s. Light irradiation of 2,000lux illuminance by the lamp 4 and 4,000lux illuminance by the lamp 9 is performed on the drum surface. The rotating speed of the drum 1 is made the same as the rotating speed at the copying in te warming up time of the heat fixing device provided to the next stage of a transfer device 6 or slower than this. |
