POLYMER MATERIAL FOR IMPLANTATION HARDLY DECOMPOSED IN LIVING BODY

PURPOSE:To suppress the decomposition of a polymer material for implantation in a living body by adding dipyridamole and/or a salt or derivative thereof to the polymer material for implantation. CONSTITUTION:Dipyridamole and/or a salt or derivative thereof is added to a polymer material for implantation such as segmented polyurethane or polyester wherein polyether, polyester or polysiloxane is used as a segment. By this constitution, the decomposition of the polymer material for implantation in a living body can be suppressed and the durability and safety thereof are enhanced.
