PURPOSE:To prevent shear in printing in transfer of a thermal transfer dye donor to an image receiving material from occurrence without causing bed influences such as deterioration of a transfer property, bonding by fusion, etc. CONSTITUTION:The present thermal transfer dye donor is provided by containing a polymer having fluorine and chlorine in a surface layer of the thermal transfer dye donor coming in contact with an image receiving material in thermal transfer in the thermal transfer dye donor having, at least, one dye donative layer on one side surface of a support. |
