PURPOSE:To enhance reliability by equalizing the length dimension. from a mounting surface of a housing engaging protrusion to its tip, to the total dimension of a connector fixing bar's height and an insulating plate's thickness, on the datum of a connector housing's mounting surface. CONSTITUTION:Based on the mounting surface S of a connector housing 3, the length dimension L of an engaging protrusion 3a of the housing 3 extending from its mounting surface to its tip, is equalized to the total dimension of the height dimension H of a connector fixing bar 4 and the thickness dimension T of an electric insulating plate 15. Namely, where the tip of the protrusion 3a penetrates the plate 15 and just against the surface of a main printed wiring board 11, a nail part 3b is set in such a manner that it engagingly locks with an engaging notch of the bar 4. Thereby, when the housing 3 is mounted on the bar 4, the tip of the protrusion 3a can about against the surface of the board 11 while the nail part 3b can be engagingly locked to the bar 4, if the plate 15 is intervened and inserted. If the plate 15 is not intervened and inserted, whether there is any intervention and insertion of the plate 15 can instantly be detected, since the housing 3 cannot be connected to the bar 4. |
