PURPOSE:To provide a titled annealing furnace which can supply continuously a specified amt. of a gaseous atmosphere into a muffle covering strip coils from reserve tanks for the gaseous atmosphere mounted on carriages moving intermittently in the furnace body in the respective stop positions of the carriage without interrupting the supply even during the movement of the carriage in the furnace. CONSTITUTION:When carriages 2 which are pushed 3 successively in a queue in a furnace body 1 stop, the 1st sliding body 13 is slided to bring an attachment 18 into contact with a stopper 16. The 2nd sliding body 21 is then advanced toward the carriage 2 side and a gas supply port 19 and a male type electric socket 22 are connected to a gas receiving port 9 and a female type electric socket 23 provided on the carriage 2 side. When the port 19 and the port 9 are connected, check valves 25a, 25b are opened to supply a gaseous atmosphere from a gas generator on the outside of the furnace to the inside of a storage tank 8. The port 19 and the socket 22 are disconnected respectively from the port 9 and the socket 23 on the carriage 2 side upon lapse of specified time to stop the supply of the gaseous atmosphere to the tank 8. |
