The last parts for the heel and toe (4) have curved-out parts (9) and holes bored through for holding and attaching a link joining the heel and toe parts. A pull piece (12) consists of a pull-strap (15) and an expander-piece (13). The pull piece in the curved-out part is fixed to the toe or heel part and is attached by a bolt (18) fitting into a hole, on the toe or heel part. The expander piece consists of a wedge (14) and two levers (16,17) joined by another link (19), and joined to the pull-strap. USE/ADVANTAGE - The shoe-last is precision-mfd. with few fixtures.
