PURPOSE:To reduce costs and extremely facilitate work by providing a means to receive the document position adjucting signals from an image forming device, a means to convey documents to the image forming section of the image forming device based on the received signals and a means to adjust the position of the conveyed documents. CONSTITUTION:When residual documents are completely discharged, the document D which has been conveyed to an aligning roller 6 is fed on a feed belt 12. The document D passes a size sensor 9 which detects the width of the document in the perpendicular direction to the document feed direction, and when the end of the docuemnt passes a register sensor 8, SIZE 0 to 3 signals are set and DE-ACT signals are turned off. In addition, the number of documents which were fed is counted by counting the number of pulses generated by a first pulse generator from this moment. When the feed amount of the document is counted till the end of the document passed the left end of a document stopper 21 by the specified amount X, a conveying motor is stopped, and after the lapse of a fixed time, the conveying motor is reversed to make the document D about against the left end of the document stopper 21 for completing the conveying operation of the first document D. |
