PURPOSE:To provide an automated warehousing facility by which an ID card can constantly coincide with information on articles loaded (housed) on a pallet, and which improves the housing efficiency of the pallet. CONSTITUTION:A handy data input device 14 for an ID card 11 on which a data on article 12 on a pallet 1 as written, is provided in a an carrying-in area A of the article 12, a bar code reader 15 is provided 4 in the input device 14, and a bar code data on a bar code label 16 of the article 12 is written in the ID card 11. When the carried-in article 12 is loaded on the empty pallet 1, information on the article 12 to be loaded on the pallet 1 is inputted to the ID card by the input device 14, the carried-in article 12 can thus be loaded on the empty pallet 1 regardless of the order in which the article is carried-in, and thereby the operating efficiency can be improved. Besides, since different types of the articles 12 can be loaded on the pallet 1, the housing efficiency of the pallet 1 can be improved. |
