PURPOSE:To arbitrarily select a dot diameter and a line width without changing the number of data and a pattern generating time with respect to a laser font pattern obtained from coordinate data of basic dots. CONSTITUTION:A font pattern is formed by coordinate data of basic dots (shown by black dots) and shift data (ax, by, nx, ny) respectively corresponding to the basic dots. A this time, the data (ax) and (by) represent shift amounts in x- and y-directions, and the data (nx) and (ny) represent shift numbers in x- and y-directions. By changing shift data in accordance with a dot diameter D and line widths Wx, Wy in the pattern, a marking pattern of required dot diameter and line width can be obtained. |
