PURPOSE:To provide a new uracil derivative having excellent insecticidal and miticidal activity against various agricultural vermin and spider mites and giving nearlyno adverse effect on mammals, fishes and beneficial insects. CONSTITUTION:The compound of formula I [R<1> is H, alkyl, alkenyl, formyl, alkylcarbonyl, benzyl, phenyl, etc.; R<2> is H, halogen, alkyl, SH, alkylthio, OH, alkoxy, CN, NO2, etc.; X is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, NH2, CN, etc.; (l) is 0-5; Z<1> and Z<2> are O, S or NH; B is group of formula II (Y is halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, etc.; (m) is 0-5), naphthyl, furyl, etc.], e.g. 3-(difluoro-3,4-dioxymethylene-phenyl)-6-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-2,4(1H,3H)- pyrimidinedione. The objective compound wherein Z<2> is 0 can be produced by reaction of a compound of formula III successively with a compound of formula R<1>NH2 and a compound of formula B-NCZ<1> and cyclizing the obtained compound. |
