PURPOSE:To control increase of output pulse frequency by converting the 2-phase pulse train signal as an output of a rotary encoder to the corrected normal rotation pulse and the corrected reverse rotation pulse. CONSTITUTION:A difference between the number of normal rotation pulses 11 as an output of a 4-multiplying circuit 1 and the number of reverse rotation pulses 21 as an output of a pulse generator 6 is counted. A pulse generation permitting instruction 4 is issued to the pulse generator 6 so that the number of normal rotation pulses 11 as the output of 4-multiplying circuit 1 becomes equal to the number of corrected normal rotation pulses as the output of the pulse generator 6 and moreover the pulse generator 6 generates the corrected normal rotation pulse having constant duty ratio and period. Thereby, increase of frequency of output pulse resulting from phase difference of 2-phase pulse train signals output from the rotary encoder can be controlled to a value less than the predetermined constant value. |
