摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a traffic convergence function to a VPH even in the asynchronous transfer mode by applying call reception control to plural virtual path links and setting a virtual line based on the result. CONSTITUTION:Upon the receipt of connection information, when subscriber VCH41, 42 connects a call to a VPC (VP connection) 61, the reception control as to whether or not the quality of the call is satisfied based on the capacity of a VPL (VP link) 613 and the operating state is implemented and discriminated. The reception control constitutes a virtual path connection in the asynchronous transmission mode and is applied to a virtual path link in which each assigned capacity is not matched respectively. When control is discriminated to be satisfied, the virtual line is set by the connection function of a connection management equipment 48 in the virtual path connection. Furthermore, the management equipment 48 has a function to manage the operating state of the VPL 613 and a traffic convergence function is provided to a VPH implementing the connection of the VPL 613 and a signal repeater 47 is operated.</p>
