The cable or pipe laying plough has an operating winch (17) mounted on a wheeled chassis (2) with a pneumatic or hydraulic steering system. The cable or flexible pipe (7) is attached to the plough share (4) at the rear of the latter for feeding along a circular channel (20) formed in the ground upon movement of the plough share (4) by the winch (17). The plough can be moved in a continuous path through the ground between opposing vertical edges (21) at a relative spacing of 100 m with a ground penetration depth of 60 cm. USE - Laying electrical supply or telephone cables or gas or water lines etc. or for supplying water line to snow machine.
