A device for testing heat retention of materials, which includes a metering chamber restricted by walls of low thermal conductivity, heaters and temperature probes, characterised in that the metering chamber (1) has a form of a vessel open at the top and with a heater (4), whereas, inside and above the chamber a container (13) is located with a humidity reference, and in a space above it, a stirrer (14) and an internal temperature probe (9)are located, whereas the metering chamber (1) is closed with the measured sample (3) with application of a closing component (2), whereas on both sides of the sample surface (3), at least two (10) and (11) temperature probes are located which contact the probe.<IMAGE>
