The reception mechanism has a top and lower outlet aperture, almost vertically over each other for delivery of two different paper types. A lower compartment body has its outer ends underneath the lower discharge aperture, while a top compartment body, firmly spaced from the lower one, has its outer end between the top and lower outlet apertures. The two paper deposition zones are independently formed between the two compartment bodies, as well as on the top compartment body. The two paper types can be retained by the latter. Pref. the lower compartment body is releasably coupled to the facsimile appts. etc., while the top compartment body is releasably secured on the lower one. ADVANTAGE - Distinct separation of recording paper and documents without mixing up.
