PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricant composition excellent in abrasion resistance and hydrolysis resistance by blending a base oil mainly composed of an ester- based compound with a specified phosphorus-based compound and an amine compound. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant composition obtained by blending (A) a base oil mainly composed of an ester-based compound such as trimethylolpropane tert-2- ethylhexanoate, pentaerythritol tetra-2-ethylhexanoate or dioctyl adipate with (B) a phosphorus-based compound of formula I, II or III [R<1> and R<2> are 3-30C (cyclo)alkyl or 6-30C aryl; R<3>-R<5>, R<9>, R<10>, R<12> and R<13> are H or 3-30C (cyclo) or 6-30C aryl; R<6>-R<8> and R'' are 2-4C alkylene;), (q) and (r) are 0-2; X is 1-20], e.g. dilaurylhydrogen phosphite and (C) an amine compound of formula IV (R<14>-R<16> are same as the above-mentioned R<3>) e.g. cyclohexyldodecylamine. |
