METAL MOLD FOR IN-MOLD PLATING MOLDING

PURPOSE:To provide a metal mold used for a method for an in-mold plating molding wherein a synthetic resin is cast in a cavity of a mold on the inner face of which a metal plating layer is formed and a resin base material and a metal plating layer are integrated. CONSTITUTION:A groove part 11 communicated with a joint part and/or a gap part of a mold member opened to the inner face side of a cavity 9 is connected with a compressed air or water feed opening 10 outside of a mold. A plating liq. and a washing liq. are prevented thereby from penetration to the joint part and/or the gap part of the metal mold member and it becomes possible to form stably a metal-plated layer.
