<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate jam disposal at the time of jam occurrence by retreating longitudinal cassettes to one side of a main body, forming jam disposal space. Also, to set a paper feed portion automatically at the center potion of a selected sheet material. CONSTITUTION:Plural cassettes 29-32 of a longitudinal shape housing differently sized sheets are selectively moved to a paper feed portion F, and paper feeding is done by means of the paper feed portion F. When jamming is generated at a device main body 2a (2), plural cassettes 29-32 are moved to one side of the device main body 2 by the control of a control portion 90, and jam disposal space SP is formed at the device main body 2a. As a result, the removal of a jam sheet P is easily conducted. In linkage with the movement of a selected cassette, the paper feed portion F is moved automatically to the center portion of a sheet material P. As a result, paper feeding can be done without skewing.</p> |
