<p>PURPOSE:To perform an efficient packaging work without time loss by a method wherein a control unit calculates a period of time by which an article-to-be- packaged which is discharged from a most distant hopper reaches a packaging machine, and transmits an intermittent feeding command signal for bags in response to the completion of the set period of time. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 26 transmits a mouth opening command signal 43 to a plurality of timing hoppers 22, which are paired so that a target weight is obtained, and when objects-to-be-packaged are discharged on a belt conveyor 23 from the paired timing hoppers 22, respective objects-to-be-packaged start to be carried by the belt conveyor 23. At the same time, the control unit 26 calculates a period of time by which an object-to-be-packaged discharged from a most distant hopper 22 from a conveyor end part 44 among a plurality of paired hoppers 22 is filled in a bag 37, by a timer 45, and transmits a control signal 46 to an electromagnetic clutch 47 as soon as the calculated set time is up. Intermittent feeding of bags is started by the engagement of this clutch 47.</p> |
