<p>In grinding machines which have a rotary backing plate with an abrasive disc detachably fastened thereto, the abrasive disc is held on the one hand by a central fastening element, which only has the task of preventing radial displacement of the abrasive disc relative to the backing plate, and on the other hand by an adhesive coating which only serves to prevent the abrasive disc from slipping relative to the backing plate in the peripheral direction of the backing plate, the adhesion of which adhesive coating, however, is not sufficient to hold the abrasive disc in place on the bearing surface of the backing plate without the centring action of the central fastening element. The combination of a centring element with an adhesive coating producing a frictional connection permits simple exchanging of the abrasive discs and at the same time guarantees faultless function of the grinding machine. <IMAGE></p> |
